Sec 1 orientaiton 2005 was FUN and t i r i n g. We ( student leaders) had to be enthusiastic from 7.40am to about 8.40pm. do count, 13 hours. Recess was at 9.30am. before that, everyone played a whole host of ice-breakers like Tic Tac Toe and others i can't rmb.
During the obstacle course, Maine, fiza and I together with some others were i/c of the Neck-the-balloon game. It was so fun seeingthe sec 1s struggle with the balloons, so many cheated in other teams, but it was so funn! haha. needless to say, after that, everyone started chasing each other arnd with water balloons. i chased Maine ; but i missed her and my balloon didint' even burst. hahas. Others were chased with flour. Some poor sec 1s had flour on their hair; then water over it. And everyone knows how yucky flour and water can be. it turns all gooey and irks! yuckyy!! I got sprayed with the water gun, but it wasn't too bad. I got floured by Lois too. hahaha, but i soon dusted it off.
Had lunch together with peijun while fiza took a nap beside me, sprawled out on the canteen table. She had flour all over her, so got me to use her nike bottle and spray her so she could clean it all off! hahas. i like spraying people. hahahah. so fun! =)
i think after that everyone went to the hall for cheers. that was quite ok. but by that time, fiza and i were finding it hard to be sooo enthusiastic. charmaine has boundless energy. she was sitting among the sec 1s mingling and talking and cheering. I was super stoned. hahas. THIS is where the interesting part comes in. I wanted to drink from Peijun's bottle. She filled it with Kikapoo during lunch break. no one knew/suspected that the gas would cos so much trouble. i titled the bottle to squirt into my mouth, but NOO it came spilling all over my face. Fiza was laughing so hard, peijun couldn't stop herself either. Aishah ( yes, mummy came back!!) put her arm around me and laughed. hahahahas. I thought the bottle had leaked or something, but when peijun tried to drink, HAHH! she had it all over her too. It's a sweet gassy drink and everything, so was went to the toilet to wash up. We took a mop from the toilet, lied to the cleaner, mopped it up, returned the mop, and ran back to the hall. we stood right in front of the fan to cool ourselves from all the running.
Campfire was the best!! Charmaine bought light sticks and we passed it round to all 1 sixers. We took 2 each too. Fiza and i put ours round our necks while char out hers round her hands. We looked for small "boy boy"s or "girl -girl"s to hand some light sticks too. aren't we nice! =) It started drizzling and some parents opened up their umbrellas! mighty irritating. Ms terry said it was best for us to moveu p to the hall, since obviously parents weren't too happy. HMPH. Everyone groaned and sang "rain rain go away" but we still moved to the hall.
Most lights were turned off in the hall so the light sticks were so perfectly! it was really nice and all. Mine was all purple and Fiza's was pink and purple. pink. Ah! typical her lah. hahas. Maine took lots of pics till her cam died of no battery. ) : The pics turned out real nice. Can't wait for her to send them to meee!!!
Sec 1s performances were good. !/6 was good although we didnt' win eventually. It's alright. =) All the Sls sang and clapped to the songs that the classes danced to. haha. so nice. Some of the Sec 1s can dance, but those who can REALLY dance are the STUDENT LEADERS!!! Fiza and i were so glad that we weren't invovled though we were asked/begged to join. the dance was super fast with a lot of steps. hahas. it was SUPER good. =)
Oh yes, 1/7 performance was good, cos of Zara dancing righti n front of the stage? hahas. the moves were simple, but Zara dancing jus made everyone laugh so much! After the class performed, all SLs stood up and said "Zara we love you!" hahas. She's super wacky lah. She noticed i wasn't floured after the obstacle race and said she'd come back and diry me! hahas.
I enjoyed the Sec 1 orientation, hopefully all sec 1s did too.
oh yes, and may i mention something?
