The sign at the bus stop said : 293,28,29. I started. My whole body and mind was flushed with adrenalin. Spurred on by th thought that it was actually possible to feel good about that run, I picked up speed a little. The straight stretch of pavement was faster than I expected. I took the first right. Running opposite the Vitoria Family Centre, I wondered what actually took place behind those blue glass windows. Depsite having lived here for 6 years, I still didn't know my neighbourhood well, or so it seemed. At the end of that stretch, I made another right. Most surprisingly, my legs weren't tired. The back of East View Secondary soon came into view. Ran the whole thing once more. 15mins. That's how long it took. My guess is, the distance is more than 2.4km.
